Worksop Town Academy partners with the National Grassroots Show to offer exciting opportunities for players, coaches, managers, families and fans to connect, learn & grow.
It all begins with an idea.
Worksop Town Academy is pleased to present an opportunity for all of our current players & families to attend this first of a kind event taking place at the Birmingham NEC on 19th / 20th July. It will give all of the Worksop Town Academy community members the opportunity to connect with others from the grassroots game as well as organisations who support the game. Not only this but our youngest players in the U7’s & U8’s will also be given the opportunity to enter a national tournament with the winners of each regional event progressing towards the final which will be held at the NEC itself.
Academy Director, Laurie Griffin said, ‘Our ambition has & always will be to develop a football programme that our community can be part of and proud of and this is a huge opportunity for Worksop Town Academy to showcase the incredible work we’ve done over the past five years on a national level. It also provides our players with further opportunities to develop their footballing skills in new environments against new opposition all whilst giving them memories to last a lifetime.’
The event itself will see over 20,000 people descend on the Birmingham NEC across both the 19th / 20th July to take part in this first of its kind event. You can keep up to date with the latest events coming out on this event by following them on social media here;
