Worksop Town Academy and Coerver Coaching Unite for 3-Day Camp

Worksop Town Academy started the year on a high with players from our U13 - U16 age groups being given the chance to experience global footballing cultures as we welcomed over 20 players from the USA to Worksop.

Coerver Coaching, who operate globally brought players & their families to the UK as part of a football experience tour, taking time to work with our academy via a series of integrated coaching sessions where players worked together as part of a 3-day training camp based at Worksop College.

Chris Castell, Owner/Operator of Coerver Carolinas said:

"Our Coerver Kids from South Carolina came to train with Worksop Town Academy staff to experience the English football culture. Sessions were run by Worksop Town Academy coaches while their academy players were combined with the American Coerver Kids for full integration."

"We love being able to welcome players from across the world to experience our footballing culture here in England, the home of football. Coerver, who are now on their second visit to the UK and working with the academy have brought players who have the ability to challenge and improve the performance of not only themselves but also the players from our academy so it's a relationship we see flourishing for years to come."

The 3-day camp was offered to players as an added benefit to their regular programme and has once again allowed Worksop Town Academy the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to offer a comprehensive programme to players from across the region.
