Laurie explained that the Development Squad Programme is designed to enhance grassroots teams, not rival them. It offers an extra pathway for skill development and personal growth. The programme aims to help players maintain an active and valuable role in their local teams while also providing additional benefits.
Our Development Squad Programme is reaching new heights as we take on the challenge to cater to all players, no matter their level of expertise, as we surge forward. One of our standout features is our all-embracing drive, making sure no one misses out on the fun. Our mission is to pave the way for aspiring football stars to reach their goals.
Training will be lead by UEFA qualified coaches not once, but twice a week! However, this program is not solely focused on ball control and agility. It also emphasises personal development, including leadership, teamwork, and good sportsmanship, both on and off the field. Our ultimate objective is not only to produce exceptional football players but also to create individuals who excel in all aspects of life.
Players should expect a flurry of fun and friendly matches, both in-house and against local grassroots teams, that will give them a real taste of competitive football. All this, while still being nurtured in a supportive and welcoming environment.
